Breakfast Club: FISH

The breakfast club is run by FISH and runs from 7:45am to 8:55am and breakfast is served until 8:30am each morning. The club is located in the Twiglets room located to the rear of the school. Parents should drop their children off directly into the room which is accessed through the gate to the left of the main school reception and sign their children in. At the end of the session children in Key Stage 1 are escorted to their classrooms and they are signed over to a member of staff from school.

After School Provision: Twiglets

Twiglets is an After School Club run separately to, but for the benefit of children who attend The Topsham School.  It runs from 3.30 to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, in term time only.

The club is held in the Specialist Room and outside area, with the Library available for quiet time and homework.  The School Field and tarmac area is used if the weather is fine and the hall for when the weather is not so good.

What to the children do?

3.30 pm Registration and sharing time
3.45 pm Free choice play time including themed crafts, use of 2 computers, construction toys, outside play equipment, drawing and imaginative play
4.10 pm Snack time, after which we play a group game
4.30 pm Free play outside if the weather permits
5.30 pm Twiglets Club finishes

Drinks and snacks are provided with special dietary requirements catered for, and there is always a member of staff qualified in First Aid available during club hours.

Payment is by cash or cheque, currently £8.00 per session, with a £8.00 initial Registration Fee.

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is very important to us and for the smooth running of Twiglets Club.  The Management Committee is made up of volunteers and a paid Treasurer.  If you would like to get involved with the club, please speak to Sharon Wannell or a committee member.  We are pleased to embrace any skills parents can offer the Club.
